Our team of expert posses vast knowledge and experience in the field of 2nd party and quality auditing. We believe in right quality at first time and follow blend of experience and modern methods to evaluate right quality.
As per the Energy Conservation Act, 2001, Energy Audit is defined as “the verification, monitoring and analysis of use of energy including submission of technical report containing recommendations for improving energy efficiency with cost benefit analysis and an action plan to reduce energy consumption.” Implementation of recommended measures can help consumers achieve significant reduction in their energy consumption levels.
Energy audit involves a systematic study undertaken on major energy consuming sections and equipment including construction of heat and mass balance with a view to identify the flow of energy, utilization efficiency of energy in each of the steps and pin-point wasteful energy used. A well-conducted energy audit would reveal the areas of wastage of energy and it would be possible to suggest saving of energy.
The Energy Conservation Act requires the energy audit report to contain recommendations for improving energy efficiency with cost benefit analysis and an action plan to reduce energy consumption [Clause 14(i)]. The conduct of energy audit and implementation of its recommendations on a cost-benefit basis through accredited energy auditors is expected to help the designated energy consumers to achieve significant reduction in their energy consumption levels.
Carry out a detailed energy audit.Quantify energy consumption and establish base line energy information.Construct energy and material balance.Perform efficiency evaluation of energy & utility systems.Compare energy norms with existing energy consumption levels.Identify and prioritization of energy saving measures.Analysis of technical and financial feasibility of energy saving measures.Recommend energy efficient technologies and alternate energy sources.Report writing, presentation and follow up for implementation.
Together with our customer, we go through the following steps:
Data Collection - We will send you the checklist for the details required by us. We suggest our customers, from their end, to foresee some time to collect the requested information. However, we will help and guide you through this process.
Field Trial Schedule - Based on the available information and the results of the measurement campaigns, we draft up the activities and will schedule them.
Field Study - Here we will conduct the field trial test on different equipment and machines of your unit. We will be using our Energy Audit equipment to conduct these trials. We conduct interviews with area in charge for better understanding of the operating practices. We identify the major Energy Saving Measures. Of course, we will not hesitate to communicate small, easy-to-realize quick wins that can be implemented and save money during our study.
Report Drafting - We draft the report and submit it. Finally, we compose a roadmap in which we suggest a prioritization of the identified measures. It can be used as a detailed guide for the composition/adaptation of the energy policy of the company.
Presentation of the Draft Report - First, we plan a presentation of the draft report with the project team of the client. When the draft is approved by the project team, we schedule the delivery of the final report.
Final Report Submission - After the draft report discussion, we submit the final report as per the modifications and upgrades discussed during the draft report discussion.
